A disciplined transition into management

The frontline is where organisational promises become daily behaviour. Yet many first-time managers are promoted because they are technically capable, then expected to supervise people without structured formation. The CMI First-Line Management Programme closes that gap, combining live masterclasses, guided practice, workplace tasks, reflective development, and a Management Impact Project.

The promise

Successful learners should leave able to manage themselves, communicate clearly, support inclusive teams, set objectives, track simple performance measures, respond to underperformance and conflict professionally, and complete a practical improvement project with evidence of benefit.
